Frequently Asked Questions & Policy Info

Common answers regarding app usage and app store safety regulations.

How do I report objectionable content or users?

Scroller enforces a zero-tolerance policy for abusive content. You can instantly report any video by tapping the report option in the video's details sheet, or block a creator. Reported posts and blocked users are filtered out immediately and hidden from your feed.

Why are some videos showing NSFW overlays?

By default, adult or sensitive content is filtered. You can toggle this setting in the Profile menu. When enabled, mature content requires a verification confirmation to ensure you are 18+ and explicitly agree to display the media.

Why does the app ask for Photo Library / Storage access?

Storage access is requested only if you manually choose to download a video or GIF from the feed to your local device.
